Morgan's glowing form sped up, and then slowed, until he was next to the Cormorant Captain. "It'd be appreciated, if you can carry me." And with that, he faded slightly, so all he looked like was an outline, as to save some of his energy. He looked at the Avian, wondering if he or anyone else would be able to carry a load heavier than themselves without being encumbered, especially whilst flying.

Nodding, he rose higher in to the air and issued a series of warbles and chirps, surprisingly masculine, for all that he sounded like an exotic songbird. "It'll take a few minutes for someone to answer that, why don't we land while we wait? You can tell me a bit about yourself, and I can tell you a bit about where you've found yourself."

Morgan gave a shimmering nod in his current form, and materializing briefly, he gave a brief wave and fell out of the sky. "See you at the bottom!" he shouted out, as he zipped down to the ground. As he neared it, he would become ethereal once again, to float slightly into the ground, and pop out again, materializing. It had been a while since he had the chance to do a little thrill-seeking, especially since the last campaign involved him attempting to speak to the demons. Not very pleasant, mind you, but more fun than a moose on a stick (A little saying he picked up in his travels.)... But since when did he start using that? Oh well.

The captain opened his mouth to say something as the man appeared to take a death dive for the ground, but as he saw it wasn't as it seemed, he smiled. So this would explain how he ended up surviving landing among Raiders, anyway. If he stuck around long enough, they might be inclined to invite him to the Fall Hunt. Pivoting in the air, diving and pulling up at the last minute, he landed himself, and said, "So, for one who does not appear to be able to fly, you have some fancy tricks. Tell me, how did you end up in Beyond, specifically, Corbettes Du Mer?" He seated himself and wrapped his wings about him like a downy grey cloak, taking out a wineskin and holding it out to Morgan.

Morgan looked blankly at the wineskin for a moment, as if he didn't know what it was, then took it, and began to sip it gingerly, without touching the rim, tasting the wine. He nodded quietly in approval, and looked out to his right slightly, at the land ahead. "I suppose you mean this place..." with that he furrowed his brow, and continued speaking. "I was on a contigent campaign for the Arcadia Legions, leading a small group into Coranilis to attempt to bargain with the demons for three of our soldiers. Turns out, they had a trap laying in wait. Not something we were used to, typically the demons would bargain - They're quite greedy. So, the trap opened a portal, and the entire group dropped through. I'm assuming... That the rest of my squad got sent to different planes scattered about." Morgan gave a nod, as if confirming what he just said, and held the wineskin back out to Captain River.

The names and locations meant nothing to him, of course, nor did the word demons, but he gathered they were a bad lot, and that this fellow was lucky he'd landed in a friendly realm; for that matter, he was lucky he hadn't landed in Raven territory. "Well, I hope for your comrades' sakes that they ended up as well as you have. Don't suppose you have a way to open a portal back to whence you came?" He watched the man with no small amount of curiosity; didn't they have wine where he was from? Maybe he was one of those who didn't drink. It was all the same to him. He trilled out a greeting as a fellow Hunter appeared in the distance. "Well, even if you don't, we know people who might be able to get you back home, if home is where you're happiest." There were plenty of offworlders, who, seeing the bounty and simplicity of life in Beyond, chose not to go home, and a lot of them ended up in Ormrland, Murder Cliffs, or among the Cormorants.

Morgan frowned when he was aske dif he could open portals, and did nothing but turn towards the Cormorant in the distance. There was no way he'd be staying here permanently... He was a soldier, and had a commitment of service under the Highlord of Arcadia to fulfill. Especially since he was already doing so good in his army. One rank away from being the First General. Not every Azuran did that, and if he reached it he would be the pride of his family for decades to come. After deciding this, he spoke out. "It's best if I don't spend too much time here. I've a mission that's half-done, and I doubt I'll get off on a parole."

Parole? Was he a soldier, or a criminal? He stood up and nodded, at least understanding the part about duty. "Very well, then. We will take you to our royalty, where we will summon the Royal Consort Tien e, from the Crow clutch. If you can help her see your realm as she scrys, someone can find a way to send you back." He hesitated to say "open a portal for you," as he noted the clear disdain in Morgan's expression when it was mentioned. He even hesitated to bring up the fact that it would take scrying to find his realm, but the fellow couldn't realistically expect to get back home without the use of at least a little magic. He was finding this man more and more curious by the moment, but he let it be, and introduced the Hunter to Morgan, then said, "We will take you by the arms, it should be quite comfortable, and they have sent someone who can match my speed, so we will be there in no time. By your leave, Mssr. Morgan?" He and the other Cormorant held out their arms, waiting to take off.

Morgan would feel rather awkward being lifted, but he let them take him anyway. It was worth saving his energy, for he had no idea if those ghostly things would be nearby. "... When you want, I'm ready." He lifted up his arms, feeling strange. Better than using magic, in any case, though. He had a few ideas on how to get back to his home plane, but he wasn't sure if he could work them out, in this place. Too much flying.

They nodded and with surprising gentleness picked him up, supporting under his arm and holding his arms as well. "Brace yourself," grinned the captain, and with a nod, he and his companion shot off like Jet arrows. The ground beneath them would soon become a blur as they raced towards the royal Nest. It wasn't long before the Nest loomed into view, and the captain called out, "You ok, Morgan?"

Morgan stared at the ground dully, becoming rather dizzy. He was strong, he was agile, but he wasn't exactly the best at holding in his nausea. Raising his head slightly as he was zipped along, he managed to blunder out half a sentence. "Just good here, ye..." He stopped, and lowered his head again, closing his eyes as everything went by. Perhaps it was less dizzying, or more dizzying, but only he knew. In fact, it didn't really seem to make a difference to how he felt, but he kept them closed all the same.

They slowed and landed before the royal Nest, and gave him a minute to adjust before releasing him. They'd perhaps gone a bit faster than he might have been able to handle, but from the sounds of things, he was eager to get home, so swiftness was the order of the day. "Just take a moment to steady yourself, Morgan, I'll go announce your arrival" said the captain, leaving his companion to tend the offworlder.

Morgan held his head with one hand briefly, and opened his eyes, blinking a few times to adjust to the light. He peered around at his surroundings, as if they were unusual and alien to him. Of course, they probably were. He patted his hands around his armor, as if you make sure everything he owned was still there, and gave his head a brief shake, his hair dangling loosely over his eyes. With that, he pushed up his headband slightly, and raised his head, waiting.

The captain came out and said, "Alright, if you'd please follow me?" Being the only person likely within miles who wasn't blue skinned, Morgan had gained quite a lot of attention, and since the Cormorants were the least strict of all clutches, they waited for him to enter the royal Nest before following, curious to know what this offworlder was doing here. It wasn't every day that one was flown in by Hunters, let alone apparently armed to the teeth, so there was a lot of quiet speculation as to his origins and purpose here in Beyond.

Morgan nodded, sweeping back the side of his fringe slightly, and peering at his surroundings from the corners of his eyes. He stepped forwards, in pace with the Captain, following him carefully. Technically, though, he wasn't armed to the teeth. He could only really wield two swords at a time, having only two arms. Even so, he did look a mite fearsome, the blades each glinting through the intermitten sheaths.
