"I'm afraid we don't have scimitars in the Cormorant Armory. We could fly over to Ormrland, though, I'm sure King Steele will have some," Cyprien replied, sending the servant away with a hand gesture.

Zakath's eyes get huge. "Fly, again?" He looks out into the sky and sighs. "If you think that is best My Queen i will try my best to keep up."

"I'm sorry, Zakath, but I do think this is the best way. A boat would take too long to get there," she replied. "Besides, you might get the hang of flying if you practice."

Cyprien smiled at him and flew off towards Ormrland, making sure not to fly too fast.

Zakath ran and jumped into the air. he makes sure to keep himself steady and level. he forgets his fear and simply begins to soar. in a few moments hes acting like hes been flying all of his life. When he catches up to Cyprien he says "this realy isnt so bad."

Cyprien watched as Max's soldier arrived to take back the rest, and bid farewell to them all. Instead of accompanying them back to Ormrland, she remained. There were things she needed to attend to--among them including the rumor that Visant had been spotted on the banks of Lac Mistique--but just in case Max or anyone else in Ormrland required her assistance, she left a message with one of the dragons to inform that he could ask for her assistance at any time.
After the dragons had all departed, Cyprien left to speak with one of the Cormorant hunters who claimed to have seen Visant. Of course, he had no idea who it could have been--he and the rest of the clutch's Hunters had merely been ordered to report any strange visitors. It was only by the description that the Hunter gave Cyprien when he had first told her (shortly after she had arrived with the Dragons) that she suspected it to be Visant. The fact that he had been seen with another mysterious, floating man only made her even more certain. After getting it verified, she complimented him on his information, and then flew off to investigate herself.

Extended absence. Hardly something Roi would call an extended absence. It was more like a near permanant leave he had taken. Yet, it had to be done. With all pressing matters at hand, including the return of Visant, Roi could sense the tension that had built in the realm of Beyond, as well as in the kingdom of the Cormorants. He had been gone far too long. It would be no surprise that either his queen, or his subjects were worried for his health, and it would be a surprise to them that his return had finally been marked. As he stepped into the throne room of the royal nest of the Cormorants, his gaze would shift throughout the expanse of it, a troubled expression etching his feathered face.
"Such a long time..."
He had uttered these words no sooner, than one of the servants ran out to greet him with open arms. "Welcome back, Your Majesty." The Cormorant King jumped with utter surprise, as his gaze fell upon the young servant before him. It was surprising that they still called him their king, after seemingly leaving them to fend for themselves. Yet, that was not his intention in the slightest. Feathered arms crossing over his chest, his claws would ball gently into fists, as his head continued to turn this way and that, his gaze shifting throughout the expanse of the throne room.
"And Cypriene? Where has she ventured?"
The subject would respond accordingly, as his head bowed to the young king. "She has gone with the dark elf to visit the dragons." Roi's head would nod slowly, as a slight smile etched itself upon the edges of his beak. "I see. Thank you... that is all." He'd move towards the throne before him, the smile disappearing quickly, a soft sigh passing from his parted beak. "Welcome home, Roi..." He whispered to himself, finally.
Welcome home, indeed...

(From Lac Mistique)
When a distressed Cyprien stepped out of the portal and saw Roi, she blinked disbelievingly before she broke out into a run and hugged him tightly from behind. "Dumer, my love, you're back!" she exclaimed happily, kissing his neck before letting go of him and moving out in front of him. "Oh, how I've missed you! It's great to have you back home again!" She embraced him again and held him there. Then she seemed to regain her senses and she murmured, "You've been gone too long, love. So much has happened..."

Smiling widely, Roi returned the embrace of his beloved, his eyes closing, his head resting upon her shoulder. "I've missed you too, my darling." He'd say softly, as he nuzzled his head lightly against her cheek, before pulling back, his hands never leaving her waist. One clawed hand would lift to her cheek, stroking it lightly, as the smile instantly disappeared from his face. He'd sigh softly, and nod slowly, as his head tilted to the side, his hand resting upon hers.
"Tell me, my beloved. What has happened in my absence?"

"So many things..." Cyprien murmured sadly, before leading him over to their thrones. Once they had both sat down, she reached across and took ahold of Roi's clawed hand and squeezed it gently. "Dark Fallen attacked Ormrland, but then was released from the mind control he had been under and turned good again. His servant, Visant the Abhorred, though, managed to break free and has since been plotting his revenge upon the Swans and maybe even us. Then Steele mysteriously killed himself and General Bjorn and his son Bjairn eaten by monsters that rose up out of the sea... Subtle, in her grief, went mad briefly, James and Dark fought because James accused him of killing his father before Dark followed Daniel to the Abyss. We haven't heard of him since. Subtle then took her family and closest friends and advisors with her to the Common Realm to recover, leaving Colonel Sirath and General Max in charge. Just earlier today a dark fey made an attack on the castle and was stopped. We sheltered the Dragons here for awhile until the commotion died down over there and I went to investigate Lac Mistique after I heard a rumor that Visant and Mortechai Maldavian, a demon from Hell, had gone there. I shot Visant with one of my Jet Arrows, but he is immune to any kind of physical attack, and then I found Clarion...Yseult's renegade sister--you know the one."

Dumer stared in disbelief, as Cypriene recited all of the events that had occured in his absence. "I have been gone a while..." He'd mumble, as his head shook from side to side, his stare going blank for a moment. After an extended period of silence, he'd turn his gaze back to her, his head tilting to the side. "You entered combat with Visant?" This had struck a light blow at Roi, now. He had been gone so long, he hadn't even been able to stand by his queen, as she stood against the utter danger of Visant the Abhorred.
"Immune to any physical attack..."
His gaze would quickly lift to her, as his eyes went wide. "And what of Subtle? Has she regained herself, since King Steele's suicide?"
