Quietly, Miaka moved inot the door way, illuminated by Fox Fire's light, making her silver locks glisten unlike they did in Beyond. Looking up from the floor, her face apologetic, she glanced first to Spinner, nodding and making a small curtsy, as the woman might sence the wolf she had met in the palace, but not the woman.
"Im sorry Flowers....If I bother you by being here, Ill not trouble you...."

Sirath ate the bread he was given without a second thought, the magical taste of it finally starting to really work on him. Sirath watched Hectic fly around, and then answered, "Yes, we're her friends. Araia," he paused to gesture to his companion, "has been trying to get back to her for a long time. He and Millifori were very close before he was taken from her. We need to see her immediately."

She was in awe (and still gloating inwardly that she was going to get to keep Sirath!), and mumbled something that sounded like "Oh wah oh ya eh??!" past a mouthfull, handing him the rest of the bread, a chunk the size of his fist. "Well come on, what are we waiting for??" she cried, and shot off like a bat out of hell towards her home, and was nearly there then put on the breaks (not a moment too soon, she nearly hit a tree) when she realized she'd left them back there, not knowing the way to her house. Chagrined, she raced back and said, "Well follow me, sillies!"

Sirath raised an eyebrow at her, but took the bread and popped it into his mouth, still savoring the taste. He had moved to follow her, and had even switched into Hybrid form so that he could fly after her more quickly when she sped ahead of them. He paused, floating in the air and looking at Araia before turning to look back at Hectic when she reappeared. He nodded and followed after her, knowing that Araia would no doubt be very close behind.

Flowers had been expecting perhaps someone from Tintagel that had missed her, but her jaw hit the floor when she saw Miaka. "You're...you're whole! Well, of course you are, what am I saying? Miaka, welcome!" She knew she wasn't making sense, but she disengaged completely from her mother and stood to greet her, and as she walked by, the flowers in her mother's arms became extraordinarily fragrant and beautiful. Just seeing Miaka had restored some of Flower's spirit.

Araia looked shocked when they both sped off--watching the two fly away filled him with an alien feeling, one he had felt before he realized he could fly, when he watched others do so. When he lost his wings he started training his legs (and all his limbs, in fact) to move faster, and he could probably even keep up with the hyperactive little faerie. But the weighted down feeling stayed with him, even as he began to run and caught up with them.

When Sirath noticed Araia coming up behind him, he glanced sideways and noticed his slightly saddened expression. There were other ways of flying that Araia could implement when they returned to Beyond, such as the flying spell that could be cast by Avian spellcasters, though he didn't stop to reassure Araia. He knew that the sooner they arrived at Millifori's house the sooner everything would be fixed and they could return back to Beyond. Or well, he hoped that would be the case.

Hectic looked back to see if they were keeping up this time, and was shocked to see Araia running instead of flying. This time, though, she didn't hit the breaks, so she was clotheslined by a low branch and twirled around it almost comically before gravity threw her into a pond below. Because of where they were, that was a big mistake; a Green Jenny rose up to drag her to the depths, almost before she could scream.

Sirath had been following Hectic when she fell into the pond. As the Green Jenny came up to snatch her, Sirath was reminded of the time where Bjairn was pulled to his death, and he zoomed forward. As he did so, one of his clawed hands grabbed onto the fabric of Hectic's shirt (which at another time he would have observed that it was made out of a strange material) and pulled. When she didn't budge, his eyes narrowed at the Green Jenny and his free claw brutally slashed its arm that was holding Hectic down. He made sure to keep well above it, remembering how the similar monster nearly got him the last time, and slashed again for good measure before flying upwards away from the Green Jenny, carrying Hectic with him.

Coughing and choking, Hectic's light was dangerously low as she felt someone strong wrest her from the waterhag's grip. She shivered hard, her wings drooping, and she looked like a bright blue and orange drowned water rat. She trembled pitifully, and when she realized it was Sirath who saved her, she clung to him, crying. Her mission to take them to Flowers was completely forgotten as she sobbed, but each tear drop sizzled as it fell to the ground, resembling something like liquid lightning, and when it touched the ground, it formed tiny bits of glass, for when electricity hits sand, that is what forms. If any of her tears land on his clothing, it will burn through like a cinder, and if it lands on his skin, it will feel like static electricity.

Once he was sure that the Green Jenny was back under the water for good, he alighted several feet away from the sandy beach area. He let her cling to him, and though her tears burnt spots in her clothes and the static electricity shocked him mildly, he barely took notice. Static electricity was nothing compared to the pain he had experienced in Hell.
Once they were safely back on the ground, he gently pried Hectic from her and then looked down at her firmly. "Calm down. You're going to be all right now," he said, taking off the jacket he had slipped on absently back at the lodge around her shoulders. "I know you're upset, but we need you to take us to see your sister. It's urgent," he said, resting his hands on her shoulders for a few minutes.

Nodding, coughing a bit, she tries to stop crying, and feels badly that she has ruined his shirt. "We'll get you a new shirt when we get there," she said, but she seemed diminished somehow, not her usual...hectic self. She waits for Araia to catch up, and says, "We can help you fly, if you want, I'm strong...usually." She'd been scared out of her mind that the stupid grindylow was going to drown her and eat her, what a stupid pixie she'd been! If Sirath hadn't saved her... she shuddered hard, and began to cry again.

"It's not really important," Sirath said, waving her concern away, for he wasn't concerned about material possessions much anymore. Sirath sighed quietly as she began to cry again, and he said again, "Please calm down. You're safe from whatever that was. Just be a little more careful next time."

Araia screeched to a halt as Hectic went sailing into the pond. He watched, a little helplessly, from the sidelines as Sirath saved her, and stared awkwardly at them when they landed. When Hectic spoke to him, he shook his head. "I can keep up. If I need to, I'll switch to my--" He paused. How would the inhabitants of Tintagel react to his Cambion form? Especially this little Fey. He'd be heartbroken if he scared Millifiori's little sister to death. Sighing, he shook his head. It'd be best to stay out of that form unless it was an emergency. "Nevermind. I can keep up."

Sirath looked over at Araia sympathetically, and hoped that Hectic could take them to Flowers soon. He doubted that Flowers would refuse him, and if they were reunited then he knew that Araia would be happy. Araia deserved to be happy, Sirath thought. "Are you ready to go?" he asked hectic as he removed his hands from her shoulders.
