While the sudden burst did make him jum, Shio felt the tension ease out of him as he moved towards his dauther, gently lifting her and placeing her in the basin to begin the washing process. He was estatic and overjoyed. The wait was over, the danger gone, and now with his dauther's birth he could finally find peace. After finishing up, he looked over at his mate with a smile on his face that seem to have control of it's own.

"FINALLY!" she shouted, scrambling into her father's arms and letting him bathe her. "It's cold, Mother, can I get dressed now?" She smiled, watching jaws drop around her like rain.

Miaka watched everything from her vantage point somewhere outside the crowd. She smiled at the tension and the nerves and had to inwardly laugh at likely being the only calm one in the crowed when the egg exploded into a clowd of dust. She had every hope and beliefe that this child was good and ready to jump out of that egg and into her parents arms, and didnt think for a second that it would end in any other way. She smiled at her first words. And cheered with the rest of the throng before inching her way to Alan's side. Holding his hand she watched the joy in Avengers and Shios eyes dance like fearies in the spring.

Araia watched the hatching with bated breath, sometimes holding it and other times remembering to exhale. His eyes were bright and focused on each main person in turn, from Alan to the Lawgiver and finally the beaming parents and excited child. The clamor of excitement from the people around him eroded his stoicness for a moment, and he cheered with them when the egg exploded. After that instant, however, he turned immediately to his side and showed his wide, relieved, and joyous grin to Flowers. His eyes were blue and glimmered happily, and seconds after looking at her, Araia pulled his beloved into a tight embrace and laughed. It was a handsome and powerful sound, calming and overjoyed all at once. He was relieved for the child, but there was something else there, a look in the parents' eyes that reflected in his own. He released Flowers after a while of holding her and stared into her own eyes with that look, not yet aware of what it even meant.

Max watched with reverent silence, hands folded behind his back, attention focused on the main action. When the shell burst, he lifted up a hand and the GDA roared proudly, the concentrated effort muted somewhat by thoughtful spellcasting, so that no one in the vicinity would go deaf. A few of the nearby Avians, he noticed, had started dancing, and he smiled briefly at them. It was good to be home. There was certainly enough excitement today, it seemed, and though Max smiled and remained standing, it was obvious he was tired. It had not been so long since their return, and though he was pleased to be home, there was another part of him that wished to be laying in bed and dreaming. But the ceremony was not over yet, and he knew there was still much to be said. Much that would not be such a cause for celebration.

Rosyl was not entirely sure what was happening, though he could see and hear the events well enough. It seemed the egg would finally be hatching, and he waited anxiously to see. When it did, Rosyl stared as the egg exploded (having never seen anything quite like it before) and a babe was removed. The crowd around him was cheering, dancing, roaring; he couldn't help but be moved by their emotion, and sent up bright colorful sparks ten feet into the air, his wings beating wildly, and cheered, "Luif'e is'e Bhosona'!"
Most of the people around Rosyl paused in their celebrating to gape at his odd display and proclamation, but the strange glowing man was dancing and laughing, and so was mostly dismissed as a harmless reveller.

Wynne did no such thing as partcipate in his companion's mindless cheering. He shrunk slightly away from the pressing crowd, scowling at their joy, if only because it was so loud. The life of the child mattered little to him. He was here to speak with Araia, to hopefully retrieve him, and then to return to their home forever. He would not look back on this world when leaving, and sighed when Rosyl joined a group of dancing bird-people. This place was strange and he didn't like it. He did not understand how Rosyl could be so carefree as to join their celebration, especially when the matter didn't concern them at all.

He stood back a bit, and watched smileing as Rowan burst forth, and chuckled at her matter of factness. He consentrated on the joyous scene trying to keep his worries at bay, trying not to dwell upon the negative. He would not allow anyone to be able to read the trepidation within him. as he stood there trying his best to appear happy as the rest were, deep inside his heart was troubled he worried for the future of his family, his country, and his clutch, much would be on his mind now if he allowed it, but at the moment he managed to keep it all at bay.

He returned in the shadow of the trees, and atched, grumbling to himself in an annoyed fashion. The dragon had irked him, with his audacity to claim the Draconis family. So what if he was kin to them, he wasn't trying to kill them, not yet at least...Besides, he was not interested in hurting the children. as foul and demented as he was, he did not have reason yet to fight them....but the Gumai....now they were another story, and soon enough, he would begin his army....perhaps take over Raider Cliffs and begin taking those lost souls into his cmmand...and make soe more too...yes, he would need his generals, and then...if he did die, there was always the final card to fall onto the table...his insurance policy.
