Austur, who had come in at the end of their conversation, timidly walked up to Yseult. "Yseult, has Gavrie been found?" he sounded a bit hopeful--he had known Gavrie when he was younger, before he had been exiled, and had always wondered what had become of him. Still, despite his curiosity, he remained a respectful distance away from her. As much as he loved her, he feared her and her wrath even more. So he stood there, his hands clasping themselves in front of him and his white hair spilling gracefully over his face and shoulders. His wings, which usualy drooped slightly, had perked up a bit as he awaited her answer.

"Yes, it appears so. He now goes by the name Visant. His whereabouts are unkown, however." Yseult answered, reclining back on her throne and drumming her sharp talon-like nails on one of the arms. "Is that all you came in here for?" She asked, turning her cold eyes on him and sounding slightly disgusted. She had no patience for anyone; even her own husband.

Austur cringed ever so slightly, before shaking his head. "No--I've come to report an intruder I found lingering here in the audience chamber," he replied carefully, and held his hand up to where two Swan Hunters had Frederic suspended between them--muddy and disheveled. Austur back up a few paces, knowing that even though he had brought him to her, Yseult's wrath would soon decend upon the whole room like a vulture to its carrion.

as he was dragged into view, he awoke and looked up. his lizard like snout was filthy, but the green scales underneth were still noticable. he looked at the two who he assumed were in charge and immediately looked away. he said in a raspy voice," forgive me...i must have died to gaze upon such beautiful ones....my form is so hideous...a shame for such creatures as yourselves to see." he kept his head lowered, as the muck and debree slid off his body. the scales awere clean, and his robe was looking as good as new. his tail was wrapped around his waist and his claws were clean. he then looked up and said "forgive my horrid appearance. i am Fredric Gumai, brother of Shio Gumai and guardian of water" he bowed his head and kept it lowered, awaiting to know his fate here in theis realm.

Fire flared up in Yseult's eyes, and she looked with pure disgust at the scaled...thing that had dared come into sight before her. "You...you...how DARE you...!!" She couldn't even form words! There was no word--no language to describe her sudden hatred towards this creature, who came into her kingdom unnannounced, and was making a mess of her floors, no less!
She seemed to calm down very slightly at his words, though was obviously still upset. Rather than screaming to cut off his head, however, she shut her eyes, breathed deeply, and when she opened them again snapped to two of her guards, "Clean this up!"
She massaged her temples, eyes shutting again and sighed. How did these idiots miss something like Fredric wandering around?! She opened her eyes again, and briefly rested a hand on her stomach before putting it back on the arm of her chair. "What do you want, beast, or are you just here to waste my time like everyone else?"

Austur cringed visibly as Yseult yelled, but when it seemed she was marginally calmer he slowly shuffled towards his throne and sat down. He didn't speak, though, knowing that Yseult would only take out her anger upon him for meddling. She never did seem to like when he interefered...
So he sat there on the throne, fidgeting nervously as he watched the exchange between Yseult and the stranger.

Keeping his head lowered, Fredric spoke in a clear voice "I thank you for not ending my life...as for my purpose here, i wish nothing more than to find out why it is i'm here for........as a thank you for sparing me, i will leave immediately." and he faded as the waters he conjured surrounded him and he disappeared, goionmg to his family, or his brother shio's extended one, at Murder Cliffs

The Swan Hunters stopped in their figurative tracks; where did he go?? Brother, was he in for it. "Show yourself, Morgan, or be annihilated where you hide." It was no empty threat. If they called the Lawgiver, the soldier's soul could be cast from his body permanently by the Lawgiver's Baston, and then he would be at the mercy (or lack thereof) of the Raiders. "What foul trickery is this, that you hide from us when you agreed to go before the Royal Swans?" Having said his piece, the speaker then nocked his Jet arrow again, whispering "Morgan, his head." It would do them no good to fire while he was invisible, for the arrow would take forever to locate its target, but the second he appeared...

A shimmering passed them by, and he himself was hovering right in front of them. They probably couldn't see him, but they could hear him, at least. Knowing that from his long years of training, he spoke. "Right here. Don't have wings, only way I can follow you is like this... Being invisible is just a side-effect I can't really control." And with that, he waved his arm through the both of them, and they would get a cold feeling, as if being touched like a ghost. "That there... That's me. Hold on a moment, I might be able to do something..." And with that, in his immaterialism, he closed his eyes for a moment, focusing, and back in the visible spectrum, a large burst of colors formed in the shape of his body, where he was. "Can't keep this up for long, folks. Lead the way."

Intensely displeased but seeing that he apparently was on the up and up, they lowered their weapons. What a disgustingly abnormal offworlder. They were fairly loathe to bring him before their beloved Queen and King, but it was their duty. Securing their weapons, the speaker said, "Very well then; keep up with us." With that, they both shot off like rockets in the direction of the Nest, knowing they could come back and hunt him down if he failed to follow.

Morgan was lucky that travel on the ethereal wasn't the same, and he was able to keep up as they went, though every now and then his colors faded, and he had to renew them.

When they arrived at the Nest, they conference briefly with the guards, who sighed and went in to talk to the royalty. In the meantime, the two who found Morgan scanned the skies and waited for a sign that he was among them. They didn't like this a bit, but the Laws were clear. "We haven't got all day, Offworlder," the one who did most of the talking shouted. They didn't care in the least what toll the long flight might take on him, they just wanted to present him and then be rid of him, by whatever means neccessary. Those Cormorant fools were always glad for offworld visitors, maybe they could dump him off on them.

Morgan materialized again, and tumbled to the ground, resting there briefly, panting. He'd have to practice that if he was to keep up with these people. The colorful array disappeared as he did so, and he stood up, to his full height, observing everything and everyone around him, then spoke out, in short breaths. "I'm right... Here." Looking up, he looked at the scenery around him, observing how different this place was to where he had just been before getting flung through that portal. He hadn't had time to appreciate what it might look for, for under threat of the Raiders.

The Hunters laughed at how weak this fellow appeared to be. Couldn't even handle the flight from Raider Cliffs to the Royal Nest. Shaking their heads, the small crowd dispersed, and the original two Hunters led him inside. "When you are in the presence of our illustrious Queen, you will abase yourself, or you will be sorry." The other Swan made a note to have a cleaning crew come and clean the floor where the outsider would abase himself after they all left. Who knew where he came from, and what he brought with him? At any rate, they were soon before the Queen. She didn't feel the offworlder merited the presence of both her and her mate, so she decided to see him herself. The Swan Hunters (and everyone else in the room) abased themselves with a grand flourish, prostrating themselves before her, their faces hovering just above the floor. "May we present the offworlder Morgan Saridia, oh exalted Queen." said the speaker, as regally as one could when laying flat on the ground and appearing to speak to it.
