Roland nodded, giving a blank stare. He may have been told what was going on, but it still didnt mean he understood a damn word of it. But he just went along with it, giving a smile as he followed Striker, knowing he would go anywhere and do anything, as long as it was with her. Even something he didn't even understand.

Striker burst through the portal and called out, "I hope you're ready to go, Roland, we've got to get to the Ceremonial Grounds, on the double!" She grabbed a new jacket, not bothering with her other one, and looked every inch the Black General that she was, with the exception that she was dressed in dress uniform, rather than for battle. She opened a portal to the Ceremonial Grounds, and waited for Roland to join her.

Roland was caught a little offguard, but was ready nonetheless. He jumped from the seated position he was in, and stood. He was in a rather formal dress as well, although, his usual dress was at times close. He realized he hadnt even bothered to say hello, really, and decided to do that now. He went over to Striker, kissing her cheek. "I'm ready, love. Whenever you are."

She smiled and quickly kissed him back, deciding to do that properly later. "Alright, we're going straight to the Ceremonial Grounds," she said, and opened a portal right next to the King and Queen, trusting her troops to have arrived ahead of her. She walked through, and gestured for Roland to join her.

He nodded, making sure he was as ready he could be for something he had never experienced before, and stood at the ready. He sighed, not knowing what to expect, but was pretty excited, actually. With Striker's gesture, he headed through the portal. No looking back now, not that he would.
